SEEE: 2021 CEA Transaction of 179 mln t

SEEE (Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange): China ETS system (Emission Trade System) has been operating smoothly since its establishment on July 16 2021. As of 31^st December, 179 mln t of CEA (China Emission Allowance) had been traded with a total turnover of RMB 7.66 bln, involving more than half of the key participants.

On 31^st December, transaction prices of CEA (China Emission Allowance) closed at RMB 54.22/t, rising by 12.96% from the first trading day on 16^th July 2021. The CEA transaction prices hovered between RMB 48~57/t during the last week of 2021.
