16th July: Today, the “National Carbon Emission Trading Market” was launched on the Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange.
The first national carbon deal was concluded at 9.30 am, seeing 160 kt of carbon units traded at total RMB7.9 mln – with an average price of RMB 52.78/t.
