The MNR (Ministry of National Resources) recently published its 2022 quotas for tungsten.
The 2022 tungsten mining quotas are 109 kt (converted to 65% WO3), 81.17 kt of which are mining quotas and 27.83 kt are comprehensive usage quotas, up by 1 kt, 350 t, and 650 t or 0.92%, 0.43% and 2.4% y-o-y respectively.
The 2021 tungsten mining quotas were 108 kt, (converted to 65% WO3), including 80.82 kt of mining quotas and 27.18 kt of comprehensive usage quotas.
