Continuing the upward trend of tungsten prices seen since December 2022, several large tungsten producers increased their long-term contract prices for the first two weeks of January 2023.
Zhangyuan Tungsten raised wolframite concentrate and scheelite concentrate prices ((WO3≥55%) by RMB 3,000/t to RMB 115,000/t and RMB 113,500/t respectively; APT prices rose by RMB 4,500/t to RMB 176,500/t for the first two weeks of January 2023.
JXTC Tungsten raised its wolframite concentrate price to RMB 116,500/t for the first two weeks of 2023, up by RMB 2,500 from the previous term. Also, a Fujian APT smelter raised its long-term contract APT prices to RMB 176,000/t (by cash) for the first two weeks of 2023.
