LoMo and Billions Group had 50 ktpy of titanium sponge capacity by end-2022, capable of producing more than 4 kt of titian sponge per month, making it a leading producer.
By end-2023, the company’s rotor-level sponge titanium technology upgrade project (Phase II, 15 ktpy) at Jinchang, Gansu and the smart rotor-level sponge titanium project (Phase II, 15 ktpy) at Lufeng, Yunnan will be completed and put into operation. At that time, the company will increase its sponge titanium capacity to 80 ktpy.
The company is set to develop a new titanium sponge project at Panzhihua, Sichuan, which is currently at the scoping stage.
