Sichuan LoMo Mining, a subordinate of LoMo and Billions Group plans to invest RMB 3.5 bln to build a 200 ktpy TiO2 pigment and comprehensive recovery project of vanadium, scandium and other rare metals (associated with 1 mtpy wastewater treatment) in Yanbian county, Panzhihua city, Sichuan.
The project will comprise 200 ktpy TiO2 pigment (chloride process), 43 ktpy hydrochloric acid, 100 ktpy caustic soda, 400 tpy of vanadium pentoxide and 20 tpy of scandium oxide. Project construction is scheduled for 4.5 years.
