17th May: Funeng Technology and Geely Technology established a JV in the lithium battery business located at Ganzhou Jiangxi. Backed by total investment of RMB1 bln, the scope of business operations includes production and sales of lithium-ion battery and module systems, battery module management systems, charging systems and other electric vehicle energy storage and management systems. Other products include lithium battery products, lithium battery anode and cathode materials, electrolytes, and separator paper.
