IM Naiman Jing’an Nonferrous Metal Co. Ltd.’s 1.2 mtpy NPI alloy production lines are under construction at present.
Backed by total investment of RMB15 bln, the project involves 36 fully enclosed EFs, including 18 x 33,000 kVA (1.2 mtpy) for NPI smelting, 12 x 33,000 kVA (600 ktpy) for SiMn smelting, and 6 x 330,000 kVA (400 ktpy) for high carbon ferrochromium smelting together with other associated facilities.
An investment budget of RMB2.5 bln is planned for 2020 and RMB30 mln has been already invested. Project construction of the 1.2 mtpy NPI project with 18 x 33,000 kVA EFs is running at full speed.
