30th May: The construction of Dawudian graphite industrial park in Wulatezhong Banner IM has formally begun. Backed by RMB4.5 bln investment from Fengyu Alkene and Carbon Industry Group the project comprises graphite, anode materials and high-end graphene materials of 100 ktpy.
The Dawudian graphite deposit is one of the largest graphite deposits in the world. According to the China resources reserve standard, it has graphite resource reserves of 17.76 mln t, by JORC standard it is 25.86 mln t.
