Fugu Jingfu Coal Chemicals started producing primary magnesium ingots (99.95% min) in mid-September 2019. The average daily output of the company is 28 t of primary magnesium (99.9%), 22 t of low calcium and low sodium magnesium and 60 t of primary magnesium (99.95% min).
Mainstream primary magnesium (99.9%) prices currently stand at RMB14,200~14,500/t ex-works, the same level as late last week, and primary magnesium (99.95% min) prices are stable at RMB15,300~15,600/t ex-works. The market is active with abundant transactions; producers holding no stocks and are under no sales pressures.
Designed with magnesium capacity of 40 ktpy, Jingfu produced 3.1 kt of magnesium in September including 1 kt of magnesium ingot (99.95% min). Its October output is expected at 3.2 kt including 1.5 kt of magnesium ingot (99.95% min).
