A developmental project for comprehensive recovery and environmental treatment of tailings resources at the Fankou Lead Zinc Mine of Zhongjin Lingnan is underway and comprises three sub projects:
1. Waste disposal in advance of raw ore, 2.5 kt/day
2. Full recovery and utilization of fine-grained tailings, 2.1 kt/day
3. Upgrade and reconstruction of refilling system 2.2 kt/day.
Project construction is scheduled for completion in 2.5 years, with the waste disposal project to be completed in 1 year. Once the project comes online, Fankou Lead zinc mine will be able to realize “zero” emissions during the dressing process of tailings, and will have laid a solid foundation for the successful withdrawal of its tailings dam in 2025.
