Domestic tungsten concentrates prices have been firm at high levels this week, seeing mainstream wolframite concentrate (65% WO3) quotations at RMB113,000~115,000/t. scheelite concentrate (65% WO3) quotations at RMB112,000~114,000/t and tungsten concentrate (55% WO3) quotations at 110,000~112,000/t. However, downstream buyers were wary about high-level quotations, resulting a lack-lustre market.
Mainstream APT quotations increased to RMB169,000~172,000/t. Some large producers raised their long-term contract prices to RMB169,000/t. In the wake of rising concentrate prices, domestic APT smelters continued to hold firm on prices, lifting minimum transaction prices to RMB169,000~170,000/t for spot sales by cash payments.
