Despite increased mine operations, domestic supply of tungsten concentrates remained tight this week and miners continued to hold firm on prices. At present, wolframite (65% grade) mainstream quotations are at RMB94,000~96,000/standard t; scheelite (65% grade) is at RMB93,000~95,000/standard t and tungsten concentrates (50~55% grade) at RMB91,000~93,000/standard t. The market has seen a few quotation inquiries from downstream smelters, but low-price transactions were sparse.
The domestic APT market improved slightly, with prices lifting to RMB144,000~146,000/t.
