Domestic tungsten concentrates prices continued strong this week, seeing mainstream quotations rising to RMB10,700~10,900/t (65% WO3) and RMB10,400~10,700/t (55% WO3). However, downstream APT smelters were cautious with high-level quotations, resulting in few transactions.
Mainstream APT quotations increased to RMB161,000~163,000/t with some high-level quotations approaching RMB165,000/t. In the wake of rising concentrate prices, domestic APT smelters continue to hold firm on prices, lifting the minimum transaction prices to RMB161,000/t for spot sales by cash payments.
