Domestic tungsten concentrate prices trended up slightly this week, seeing mainstream prices lifting to above RMB95,000/t. Mainstream wolframite (65% WO3) is being quoted at RMB95,000~97,000/t, scheelite (65% WO3) prices are RMB94,000~96,000/t and prices for tungsten concentrate (50~55% WO3) are between RMB92,000~94,000/t.
Domestic APT prices edged up slightly, with mainstream prices holding stable at RMB143,000~145,000/t. Buoyed by rising concentrate prices and reduced operations at APT smelters – due to environmental pressures – domestic APT output tightened and prices held firm this week.
