Domestic tungsten prices fell slightly this week, with mainstream wolframite concentrate prices (65% WO3) at RBM112,000~114,000/t, scheelite concentrate prices at RMB111,000~112,000/t and wolframite concentrate prices (50~55% WO3) at RMB108,000~111,000/t. Domestic concentrate vendors were keen to sell but tended to decline low-price level offers – resulting in a stagnant market.
Domestic APT prices dropped slightly to RMB167,000~168,000/t this week but transactions were few, with downstream buyers wary of high-level quotations. Most APT transaction prices were RMB166,000~167,000/t on the spot market following decreased concentrate prices and long-term contract prices.
