Domestic tungsten concentrate prices remained under pressure this week led by continuing sluggish demand, and domestic tungsten concentrate holders remained firm on prices. At present, wolframite (65% WO3 grade) mainstream quotations are at RMB83,000~85,000/standard t; scheelite (65% grade) is at RMB82,000~84,000/standard t and tungsten concentrates (50~55% grade) at RMB 80,000~82,000/standard t. Downstream buyers are pushing prices down further, suppressing short-term growth.
Domestic APT prices fell slightly, seeing mainstream quotations at RMB126,000~128,000/t. With APT smelters buckling under low prices, they are facing a situation of sharper losses and are declining high-level tungsten concentrate offers.
