Domestic tungsten concentrate prices continued to lift this week after prices bounced back to RMB10,000/t. Most tungsten concentrate venders held firm on prices, seeing increased difficulties in restocking from downstream smelters. Mainstream wolframite concentrate (65% WO3) is being quoted at RMB99, 000~101,000/t, scheelite concentrate (65% WO3) at 98,000~10,000/t and RMB96,000~98,000/t for concentrates (55% WO3).
The mainstream domestic APT price headed up to RMB150,000~152,000/t. Buoyed by strong concentrate prices and increased long-term contract prices from large producers, most domestic APT smelters raised their quotes higher than RMB150,000/t for spot sales.
