Domestic tungsten concentrate prices continued stable this week, and concentrate venders continued to hold firm on price with few transactions at low levels. Mainstream wolframite (65% WO3) is being quoted at RMB97,000~98,000/t, scheelite (65% WO3) prices are RMB96,000~97,000/t and tungsten concentrate prices (50~55% WO3) are RMB93,000~96,000/t.
Domestic APT smelters generally held prices stable this week. Mainstream APT prices were steady at RMB146,000~148,000/t. Buoyed by strong concentrate prices – with production costs higher than spot prices – domestic APT smelters intend to shore prices up, offering at RMB146,000/t for spot transactions by cash.
