Domestic tungsten concentrate prices continued strong this week, and concentrate venders were keen to sell. Mainstream wolframite (65% WO3) is being quoted at RMB97,000~98,000/t, scheelite (65% WO3) prices are RMB96,000~97,000/t and tungsten concentrate prices (50~55% WO3) are RMB93,000~96,000/t.
With the upward momentum of APT prices halting this week, domestic APT smelters generally kept prices stable. Mainstream APT prices were steady at RMB146,000~148,000/t. Buoyed by rising long-term contract prices and strong production costs, domestic APT smelters intend to shore prices up, offering at RMB145,000~146,000/t for spot transactions by cash.
