Magnesium transactions have risen moderately since Wednesday, seeing domestic magnesium prices stop falling and stabilize at RMB 22,500~22,800/t ex-works by cash.
A northern smelter sold 150 t of magnesium at RMB 22,500/t on Wednesday and increased the offer to RMB 22,600/t afterwards, noting overall market transactions were on the rise. Industry commentators forecast domestic magnesium prices to rise further next week.
