12th June, SMM: Domestic magnesium prices remained stable this week. Mainstream magnesium transaction prices were RMB13,050~13,100/t in Fugu Shaanxi, RMB13,200/t in Taiyuan Shanxi and RMB13,300~13,400/t in Wenxi Shanxi, the same as the pervious term.
Looking forward, domestic magnesium output is likely to drop as a consequence of ongoing hot weather and a lack of workers. Shrinking supply and stable FeSi prices will hold magnesium prices stable at the current level next week.
