Domestic magnesium prices rebounded slightly this week driven by rising FeSi prices caused by smelter suspensions. As of 12th March, mainstream magnesium ingot prices (99.9% grade) were being quoted at RMB15,500/t, with mainstream transaction prices standing at RMB15,400~15,500/t. In Wenxi, Shanxi, magnesium prices were being quoted at RMB15,600~15,700/t, rising by RMB200/t w-o-w.
