This week, despite strong lithium carbonate prices, domestic lithium (metal) prices remained steady as power rationing curbed downstream demand. Mainstream transactions prices of lithium (metal) prices were between RMB980~1,000/kg delivered (Li 99% min, Na 0.2% max, Ca 0.04% ,max), by 180-day acceptance bills, remaining stable w-o-w.
With strong high lithium carbonate prices continuing over the short-term, industry commentators project lithium (metal) prices to trend up further next week.
