The Yinzhushan lead and zinc mine in the Lengshuikeng mining area, Guixi, Jiangxi Province, (under an EPC contract with China Nerin Engineering Co., Ltd.) has moved to the full construction stage.
The mine has been designed with underground lead and zinc mining capacity of 1 mtpy per annum for 23 years, with annual mining capacity of 29.6 ktpy lead concentrates, 44.5 ktpy zinc concentrates and 35.9 ktpy sulfate concentrates. The construction period is scheduled from 2018~2020 and formal operation is set to begin no later than 31st December 2021. Once completed, it will be the largest underground lead and zinc mining project in Jiangxi.
