23rd December 2021: China Rare Earth Group Co., Ltd. was officially established. China Rare Earth Group is directly under the supervision of the SASAC (The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council) and has diversified shareholders. It has six shareholders, including: SASAC (31.21% stake); Chalco, Minmetals and Ganzhou Rare-earth Holding Group (each with a 20.33% stake); CISRI (China Iron &Steel Research Institute Group) Co. Ltd, and GRINM (General Research Institute of Nonferrous Metals) Co., Ltd (each with a 3.9% stake).
