China imported 9.03 mln t of bauxite in March 2019, up 1.6% on-month and up 24.2% on-year. Guinea remained the largest bauxite supplier to China in March, with total exports of 4.65 mln t, up 4.5% on-month; followed by Australia 2.65 mln t and Indonesia 1.15 mln t, down 4.9% and down 3.8% on-month respectively.
China imported 25.8 mln t of bauxite in Q1 2019, up 26.5% on-year.
