22nd September: The 2020 National Magnesium Industry Conference was held in Xiaoyi City, Shanxi. Speaking at the conference, Sun Qian, Secretary General of Magnesium Branch of CNIA, forecast China’s 2020 primary magnesium production at 900 kt with 400 kt for export. Domestic magnesium prices are expected to rebound in October 2020.
