30 September: The local government of Ganyu District Lianyungang City, Lianyungang Port Holding Group and Chalco signed a letter of intent regarding the development of a 4mtpy alumina project in the Ganyu District. Backed by a total of RMB11 bln investment, the three parties will jointly develop the project as well as an associated red-mud dam at Santudi, Ganyu District, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province.
