The investment consortium of Chalco International and PT.PP.(Persero)Tbk has won an EPC contract for the development of a 1mtpy alumina (SGA) project in Indonesia for Indonesian BAI. The total contract is worth approximately RMB4.93 bln.
According to the contract, Chalco International will be responsible for overall project design, procurement of major equipment, some construction, commissioning and ensuring performance up to standard. PT.PP.(Persero)Tbk will undertake construction and installation work in accordance with local legal requirements in Borneo, Indonesia.
