12th Aug: China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) released data on production and sales for July. China produced 84,000 new energy vehicles, down 37.2% on-month and 6.9% on-year. The sales volume was 80,000, down 47.5% on-month and down 4.7% on-year.
The decline in pure electric vehicle was more marked.
