7th April: The State Government has approved the establishment of Guangxi Baise development key test zone, a move which aims to develop Baise as a high-performance platform under the BRI initiative (Belt and Road Initiative) for China and ASEAN countries. Baise will work as a regional hub, driving the economic development of surrounding areas as well as making new and important contributions to China’s comprehensive plan of opening up to the outside world.
