3rd February: As of today, 19 provinces and cities in China have announced an extension of the Chinese New Year Holiday (originally 24 January to 31st February 2020) for another week until 9th February 2020 as the country attempts to halt the spread of the 2019-nCoV.
The provinces include: Hubei, Henan, Zhejiang, Anhui, Liaoning, Hebei, IM, Heilongjiang, Guizhou, Jiangsu, Fujian, Guangdong, Shandong, Jiangxi, Yunnan, and Shanxi; and the cities include: Beijing, Shanghai, and Chongqing.
Travel, tourism and hospitality will be the most directly and immediately affected sectors, but manufacturing could suffer if logistics and travel of migrant workers are restricted in the near term.
