23rd February: Domestic magnesium prices in Fugu Shaanxi have stopped falling and rebounded to RMB 21,200/t level, with some high-level quotes at RMB 21,500/t. The rapid rise in prices can be attributed to shrinking coal supply caused by safety checks at open-pit coal mines in Inner Mongolia after the coal mine collapse this Wednesday.
