LoMo and Billions: Production at the company’s Panzhihua titanium chloride project has reached 10 kt per month, and is being used for TiO2 pigment production. Panzhihua’s capacity is expected to be expanded to 300 ktpy.
As of 30th June 2022, the company’s TiO2 pigment capacity reached 1.11 mtpy, with its annual production expected at 1 mln t in 2022. The company is planning to expand its TiO2 pigment capacity to 1.3 mtpy by end-2023.
At present, the company is set to build a 30 ktpy V2O5 vanadium titanium iron concentrate alkaline pellet wet process project in Panzhihua, Sichuan.
According to LoMo, domestic titanium concentrate prices are likely to fluctuate around the current level and imported titanium concentrate prices are expected to be elevated over the short-term.
