Mainstream domestic magnesium prices are sitting at RMB 24,100~24,400/t today, holding stable from last Friday. The market remains flat with limited transactions.
A norther smelter bought 31 tonnes of magnesium ingot at RMB 24,100/t last Friday and is remaining watchful this week. In view of tepid demand and smelters’ strong will to prop prices, industry commentators forecast domestic magnesium prices will continue stable next week.
