China Commodity Market Place
The domestic tungsten concentrate market has been flat this week, with concentrate vendors holding firm on price and downstream smelters being reluctant to take high-level quotes. Mainstream wolframite concentrate prices (65% WO3) are steady at RMB 110,000~112,000/t, scheelite concentrate prices (65% WO3) at 109,000~111,000/t, and tungsten concentrates (55% WO3) prices at RMB 107,000~109,000/t.
Mainstream APT prices currently are firm at RMB 170,000~171,000/t, boosted by strong concentrate prices. Meanwhile, with APT long-term contract prices of large producers set at RMB 170,000/t, APT smelters are tending to hold prices at the same level on the spot market.
