An integrated stainless-steel and NPI smelter restarted operations in Shandong on 15th February 2022, after receiving a resumption notice from local authorities. The smelter had been suspended for a week, affecting 1.2 kt of NPI production (in Ni metal). It chiefly produces mid-high NPI.
