Elina Du has a Bachelor Degree in International Economics and Trade from Chengdu Institute Sichuan International Studies University. Before joining CM, Elina spent two years at FerroAlloyNet China, and focused on in-depth research into the global manganese industry.
As an analyst working in CM’s Chengdu office, Elina has spent time researching China’s nickel industry by closely monitoring the latest industry events, updating CM’s nickel pig iron (NPI) databases, and engaging in regular conversations with NPI producers and other industry participants. With her increasingly sharper analytical skills, she is gradually broadening her research areas by including other non-ferrous metals and associated industries, such as molybdenum, electric vehicles (EV) and caustic soda.
