SMM: As of June 4, the price of battery grade lithium carbonate rose to RMB89,000 to 90,000/t level on the domestic market, with an average price of RMB88,000/t up by 66% from the beginning 2021. According to SMM, lithium carbonate prices have been on a rapid upward trend since October 2020, which accelerated in early 2021 with the current prices doubling that of January 2021.
