Domestic tungsten concentrate prices remained stable this week, with fewer transactions at low prices. Mainstream wolframite (65% WO3) is being quoted at RMB96,000 ~ 98,000/t, scheelite (65% WO3) prices are at RMB95,000 ~ 97,000/t and prices for tungsten concentrate (50 ~ 55% WO3) are between RMB93,000~95,000/t.
Mainstream APT quotations held stable at RMB146,000 ~ 147,000/t, with some high-level quotations standing at RMB148,000/t. Buoyed by rising long-term contract prices and strong concentrate prices, APT smelters were unwilling to compromise on prices, shoring up prices around RMB146,000/t. APT export prices were stable at RMB265~275/MTU (converting to domestic prices of RMB15,000~15,600/t)
