Gansu Guotai Metals Co. Ltd., a JV co-established by LoMo and Billions’ subordinate Yunnan Guotai and Jinchuan Group, produced its first batch of titanium sponge on 14th January 2021.
Backed by total investment of RMB1.8 bln, the 30 ktpy titanium sponge project will be developed in two phases. Phase I is a 15 ktpy expansion project and phase II is a new 15 ktpy project. The company aims to complete project construction and reach designed capacity by end-2023.
