Established in 20019, the IM Zhengneng Group has now become a comprehensive producer with semi-coke capacity of 3.6 mtpy, high-grade magnesium alloy capacity of 15 ktpy and with 2 x 25 MW power generators.
The company suspended its 15 ktpy primary magnesium production line last week and won’t restart until February 2021 – depending on market conditions. Meanwhile, magnesium operations at Lubao magnesium smelter, another subordinate of Zhengneng Group will remain unchanged.
