SMM: Domestic zinc miners’ operational rates increased to 67.7% in September 2020, up by 6.4% on-month but down 10.6% on-year.
Some large zine miners such as Guosen Mining and Huidong Daliang Mining ramped up operations after maintenance in September. Others such as Guigang Ming and Dongshengmiao Mining increased operations, boosted by rising profits. In addition, improved ore grades at some mines as well as attempts to achieve annual output targets have also contributed to monthly growth in September.
