Yunnan Province recently released its first batch of mining quotas for tungsten and rare earths, indicating a tungsten mining quota of 2,615 t and rare earths mining quota of 12 t for 2020.
Yunnan is withholding 310 tonnes (mining quota) and 375 tonnes (comprehensive utilization quota) of tungsten and 63 tonnes of rare earths to be released later in 2020.
