Shenhua Group’s Zhunge’er Energy Co. Ltd. 300 ktpy alumina extraction from fly ash project at Ordos, IM has passed assessment organized by the Development and Reform Commission of Inner Mongolia. The project comprises one alumina production line and one primary aluminium production line. Only the alumina production line has passed assessment as the production quota for the primary aluminium production line is still outstanding.
The project, located at Dalu Industrial Park of Zhunge’er IM, is designed to process 300 ktpy of alumina-rich fly ash for 125 kt of alumina and 65 kt of primary aluminium per year.
