Chengzhou Zinc Smelter, part of Gansu Changba Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. suspended its 100 ktpy zinc production line and began rectifications in late May 2019 after an SIO2 emission accident. The smelter is set to resume normal operations on 25th February 2020. The smelter typically produces zinc ingots with average monthly output at 7.5 kt.
