Metro Mining produced 1.2 mln t (WMT) of bauxite in Q4 2019, increasing its total annual output to 3.5 mln t (WMT) and exceeding the annual target set earlier at 3.3~3.5 mln t (WMT). Metro Mining began operations in April 2018 and has been gradually ramping up its production since then.
Metro Mining has bauxite resource reserves of 109.5 mln t (WMT) and is aiming for 4 mln t (WMT) output in 2020.
