15th October: Weiqiao Group and the Yunnan Government signed a cooperative agreement on the construction of a green hydro-aluminum Industrial Park, and decided to settle the project in Yanshan County, Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan. With an aim of reducing overall investment costs, Weiqiao Group is set to disassemble some primary aluminium production lines at its existing smelters Shandong (steel structure and bus of advanced electrolytic cells) and reassemble them in the Yunnan Industrial Park.
