The commencement schedule of new NPI capacity at Naman in IM is to be postponed to Q4 2019.
Recently, one NPI production line at the Hengjia NPI project in Indonesia was started up, but other new Indonesian NPI projects have been slow to come online. Despite a large amount of new NPI capacity ready to start in the mid-term, actual output growth is far behind new capacity growth, even given that growth of new capacity has been much slower than previously expected.
The domestic spot NPI market supply appears to be in deficit at present.
